Locals donate land for the Maternity and Child Healthcare Centre.

Land donated is 100 x 100 meters. It is located in the Tarhara area near Parahi. The area selected is set upon the main Jrahi to Charohi road.

10K Fundraising Run by A Khan, I Younas and M Khalil

Kashmir Aid (AJK) fundraising volunteers are participating in the 10K run in Wakefield on the 3rd September to raise money for the Charity. Kashmir Aid (AJK) welcomed their determination and hard work. Thank you for your support.

A Better Future for Orphans Program and Local GP Enabling Programs were Kicked Off

During the recent visit to the region by the Chairman the A Better Future for Orphans Program and Local GP Enabling Program were kicked off. The programs with well received. Below are the photos highlighting Kashmir Aid’s achievements:

A Better Future for Orphans Program


Above are some of the registered Orphans receiving their registration letter and monthly supplies for essentials that they are entitled to under the program.

Local GP Enabling Program


Above is the Doctors Surgery that was the first to be part of the Local GP Enabling Program. Essential equipment, literature and supplies were give under the program.

Dr. Anwer Nasim


Dr Anwer Nasim is the Health Minister working with Kashmir Aid (AJK) in developing ideas and projects and has given full commitment in supporting any projects carryout in Kashmir by Kashmir Aid (AJK). Kashmir Aid (AJK) wishes to thank Dr. Anwer Nasim for his commitment and continued support.

Fund Raising Event at BskyB, October 2005

Kashmir Aid would like to thank Melanie Simpson and Brenda Graham for their Fundraising event on Monday 31 st October to raise fund for Kashmir Aid (AJK) appeal for the Kashmir and Pakistan Earth Quake Appeal.

BSKYB

BSkyB employees have raised more that £1500 pounds for Kashmir Aid (AJK) and BSkyB have agreed to match that by 100% and contribute these funds for Kashmir and Pakistan Earth Quake Appeal via Kashmir Aid (AJK).

Kashmir Aid would also like to thanks the following people for their contributions towards the Kashmir & Pakistan Earthquake Appeal:
